Infant and Early Childhood

Infant and early childhood work focuses on the relationship between the child and parent and how to support connection, communication and mutual enjoyment between parent and child.  Topics might include:  pregnancy and birth, post-natal depression, experience of the infant as fussy or difficult to soothe, struggles with temperament. Impact of family divorce or separation. Trauma. A parent's own developmental trauma impacted their capacity to parent.
